Fairfield University Athletics Department is dedicated to upholding the values and ideals embodied in MAAC and NCAA Bylaws. Through a system that encourages, educates, evaluates, and explains, Fairfield ensures compliance with those rules and regulations.

ENCOURAGES

Complying with NCAA rules is only possible with the cooperation of student-athletes, coaches, staff, and representatives of Fairfield’s athletics interests. EVERYONE is encouraged to ask questions about NCAA regulations before taking action.

EDUCATES

All necessary information is provided to student-athletes, coaches, staff, and representatives of Fairfield’s athletics interests in order to increase understanding of NCAA rules and minimize violations of those rules.

EVALUATES

A monitoring system evaluates whether the Fairfield University Athletics Department is complying with NCAA rules.

EXPLAINS

Compliance staff explain various routes within the NCAA rules to accomplish an objective . . . All you need to do is ask!!
